This cultural escape takes you to the heart of the Dakhiliyah region. Unlike a museum, Misfah Al Abriyyin is a living community where locals still farm the terraces as their ancestors did. It is widely considered one of the most photogenic and serene spots in the Sultanate, offering a cooler climate and a peaceful, slow-paced atmosphere. Departure from Muscat

Your guide will pick you up for a scenic drive toward the foothills of Jebel Shams.

Al Hamra & Bait Al Safah

Stop first at the ancient town of Al Hamra. Explore one of the best-preserved mud-brick settlements in Oman and visit Bait Al Safah to experience authentic Omani crafts and hospitality in a stunning historic setting.

Arrival at Misfat Al Abriyyin

Ascend the winding road to Misfah. Begin your walking tour through the village’s labyrinthine alleys, where the architecture seems to grow directly out of the mountain rock.

Traditional Mountain Lunch

Enjoy a local lunch (excluded) at a traditional guesthouse overlooking the canyon. The ingredients are often sourced directly from the village terraces.

The Falaj Walk & Coffee

Follow the water channels deep into the orchards. Witness the ingenious irrigation system in action before concluding your visit with a cup of Omani coffee at a rooftop café with panoramic views.

Back to Muscat

Begin the journey back to Muscat, watching the shifting shadows over the Al Hajar mountain range.
