Meet your guide and head west along the Batinah coast toward the Hajar foothills.

Nakhal Fort & The Oasis

Explore the maze-like corridors and beautifully restored chambers of Nakhal Fort. After taking in the views from the battlements, take a short drive to the nearby Ain Thowarah hot springs to see the natural source of the wadi.

Al Hazm Castle

Visit one of Oman’s most sophisticated castles. Built in 1708, Al Hazm is famous for its intricate carvings and its "bomb-proof" architecture that uses massive stone pillars instead of wood.

Arrive in the historic capital of Rustaq. Explore the towering Rustaq Fort and visit the nearby Ain Al Kasfa, a volcanic sulfur spring known for its healing properties. Enjoy a local Omani lunch (excluded) in the heart of the town.
