☕ The "Silent Language" of Omani Coffee
Sometimes, the best communication doesn't use words at all. When you are served Kahwa (Omani coffee), remember these two rules of etiquette:
- Right Hand Only: Always accept the cup and the dates with your right hand. Using the left hand is considered impolite.
- The Finjan Shake: When you have had enough, gently jiggle or shake your small cup (finjan) from side to side before handing it back to the host. This is the polite, silent signal for "No more, thank you." If you don't shake the cup, your host will gracefully continue to refill it!
